hello! I am primarily an OC artist with interests in TTRPGs, MMOs like FFXIV and Warframe, Fromsoft games, and original fantasy work.

✔ ship art (OCxOC, OCxCanon), non-ship pairs (siblings, friends, etc), any body type/ethnicity/identity, furry-adjacent (ex: hrothgar, dragonborn, d&d races), partial nudity (18+)✖ pedophilia/incest/"gray area" content, gore or violence, heavy tech or full plate armor, full nudity, real life people❔ detailed armor/outfits and props may incur additional fees depending on the commission type and design. POC features such as natural hair, however, will not, under any circumstances have an additional cost. your character's genetics are free of charge.
the only reason full furries are not listed is because I'm really out of experience with drawing animals T_T but if you want me to try I certainly will consider it!

I am currently unemployed but dealing with mental illness and fatigue as a result. As such there may be delays in completion, but I make sure to remain transparent if this is the case!
Please read carefully the following; by commissioning me (niya/nymeiasrain) you agree to the following terms and understand that your commission will be made under these guidelines:
Payment is paid in full upon acceptance of commission offer, after which a slot will be reserved for you in my queue (which you can check by accessing my trello linked on the front page).
I reserve the right to decline any commission offers that I am uncomfortable with or I deem are outside my ability. I also reserve the right to refund and cancel the commission at any time without explanation if felt necessary. This has only occurred a couple times now, and both instances were for my own comfort, not personal!
FOR FIGURINES, PIN-UPS, HAND PORTRAITS, AND PAINTED PIECES: Full refunds can be issued if there are no other updates from the artist within 60 days. This has never occurred, but I have this here just in case!
FOR BEANS AND PWYWS: There are no refunds once completed, unless the piece is not finished in the given turn-around time!
If there are circumstances where a refund is required by the client for personal reasons and work on the piece has already started, a 50% refund may be approved.
Commissions done by me are to be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of commission. If you wish to use it for commercial purposes, the fee starts at an additional 100% base price and can and will change in relation to the size of the project.
My work at any stage of the illustration process, nor the completed piece, cannot be used for NFTs or AI generation under any circumstance.
Artist reserves the right to post any completed works to any public domains (i.e. Twitter) for display purposes unless the client requests that the completed work be kept private.
the process
FOR FIGURINES, PIN-UPS, AND PAINTED PIECES: An initial concept sketch will be sent for approval before progress will begin in earnest. As such: Once the sketch is approved by the client, only minor changes (if I missed a detail, adjust slight positioning, change a color, etc) will be allowed with no extra charge. I send WIPs if applicable to keep you updated on my progress or if I have questions while I'm working.
FOR BEANS, PAINTOVERS, HAND PORTRAITS, AND PWYWS: There is no initial sketch--the piece is only sent when completed. As such, only minor changes (if I missed a detail, a color, etc) will be allowed with no extra charge. This is to accommodate for errors on my part; you won't be stuck with a piece that has something missing!
If there is a major change (redoing the pose, changing the entire outfit, etc) that needs to be made after the sketch was approved, there will be an additional fee billed at a percentage of the base fee equal to the work required or a minimum of $20 USD if the percentage equals to less than that dollar amount. The percentage will be discussed with the client.
Average turn around time for most commissions is currently around 1-3 months depending on commission type.
A delay due to a client's lack of an answer counts as extra commission turn around time. Ex: the artist sends a message and the turn around time "pauses" until the client answers, maybe two days later, wherein it "resumes" again.
Your piece(s) will be delivered via email unless requested otherwise (or unless it was purchased through VGen), wherein it will be delivered via Google Drive.
